CURATOR TOUR OF KATIE PATERSON AND JMW TURNER AT TURNER CONTEMPORARY, MARGATE   CT9 1HG

Paterson (born 1981, Glasgow) like Turner is fascinated by the sublime wonder of nature while also being deeply curious about science and the physical world. In the past she has collaborated with NASA and the European Space Agency to produce works.

For this exhibition, Turner Contemporary are commissioning Paterson to make a new work, which will present the colour of the universe at stages throughout its existence.  This exhibition will feature the majority of her existing works.

Paterson has selected over 20 works from the Tate collection of JMW Turner to accompany the show.

There are 7 disabled parking places on the piazza at the front of the Gallery. 

The London St Pancras and Stratford International high speed train reaches Margate in just 90 mins. There are also mainline trains from London Victoria, Cannon St, Charing Cross and London Bridge, which take longer. The Gallery is a 10 minute easy walk away along the seafront.
