Private Guided Tour of Strawberry Hill House, Strawberry Hill TW1 4ST

A gothic revival house converted from two cottages after being boughtby Horace Walpole in 1747.  He transformed it into his vision of a “little gothic castle” with pinnacles, battlements and a round tower. Largely designed by Walpole and his friends “the Committee of Taste”. It was restored allowing it to be open to the public in 2010. The tour lasts 90 mins.  Chairs are available. 

Meet at 2.20 pm in the Entrance (1.20 pm if you’ve booked lunch)
